Why Vertex
Plenty of fencers can do one or the other. We built Vertex around doing both: proper materials, proper technique, and a crew that turns up when it says it will and gets it finished.

How it works
No runaround. Here’s exactly what happens when you get in touch.
Tell us roughly what you need and where. A couple of phone photos of the existing fence help us get moving straight away.
We measure up, talk through styles and heights, and send a clear written quote. Easy to share with a neighbour if the fence is shared.
We lock in a date. On the day you get a live arrival link, so you’re not waiting around wondering.
Old fence out, new fence in, site swept. Most residential jobs are finished in a day or two.
Know when we’re arriving
Everyone’s had a tradie say “sometime between 8 and 12”. We don’t do that. On the day, you’ll get a live arrival time so you can get on with your morning and be ready when we turn into your street.
When we’re heading to your place you get a message with a link. Open it and you’ll see the time we’ll arrive.
With location sharing on, the arrival time updates with the traffic, so you know if we’re five minutes away or fifteen.
No hovering by the window or blocking out the whole morning. Get on with your day, glance at the link whenever you like, and you’ll know exactly when we’re pulling into your street.
Where we work
Our home patch runs across the Mornington Peninsula, from Dromana and McCrae through Rosebud, Capel Sound and Tootgarook down to Rye, and back up through Mornington, Mount Eliza and Frankston. That’s where you’ll see our crew most days.
Further up the highway? We service all of Melbourne, from bayside and the south-east through to the city and beyond. If you’re in Melbourne, just ask.

Straight answers. If yours isn’t here, call us and we’ll talk it through.
It depends on the style, height, length and site access. A standard treated pine paling fence is the most economical, Colorbond sits a little above it, and aluminium slat and merbau are premium options. We give free, itemised quotes so you know exactly what you’re paying for, with no surprises on the day.
Fast is the whole point. We’ll get out to quote quickly, and most residential fences are booked in within a couple of weeks. Storm-damaged or unsafe fences get priority.
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old fence is included in our quotes, and we leave the site clean when we’re done.
In Victoria, neighbours usually share the cost of a dividing fence under the Fences Act. We provide a clear written quote you can hand to your neighbour, and we’re happy to speak with them directly to keep things simple.
Most side and rear boundary fences up to 2m don’t need a permit. Front fences, corner blocks and heritage areas can have council rules on height and materials. We’ll flag anything that applies to your property before we quote.
We’re based on the Mornington Peninsula, covering Rosebud, Capel Sound, McCrae, Tootgarook, Dromana and Rye, along with Mornington, Mount Eliza and Frankston. We also service all of Melbourne, so wherever you are in the city, just ask.
Yes. Pedestrian gates, side gates, swing driveway gates and sliding gates, in timber, Colorbond or aluminium to match your fence. We can make sliding gates motor-ready or install automation.
Yes. When we’re heading your way you’ll get a text with a link to our live arrival time, so you’re not stuck waiting around all morning. It’s powered by Yprio and only runs while we’re on the way to you.
