Nothing beats real timber for warmth. Our merbau slat fences use kiln-dried merbau screening boards fixed horizontally to powder-coated steel posts, with consistent gaps set with spacers so every line is dead straight.
Perfect for front fences, feature walls, privacy screens beside decks and pool areas, and anywhere you want a natural finish that ages beautifully with a coat of decking oil.

Does merbau need maintenance?
Merbau will silver off naturally if left, or you can keep the rich red-brown colour with a coat of decking oil every year or two. Either way it’s a durable, long-lasting hardwood.
Why steel posts instead of timber?
Steel posts stay straight, don’t twist and give the fence a clean modern look. They also let us bolt to concrete where digging isn’t an option.
How much does a new fence cost in Melbourne?
It depends on the style, height, length and site access. A standard treated pine paling fence is the most economical, Colorbond sits a little above it, and aluminium slat and merbau are premium options. We give free, itemised quotes so you know exactly what you’re paying for, with no surprises on the day.
How quickly can you start?
Fast is the whole point. We’ll get out to quote quickly, and most residential fences are booked in within a couple of weeks. Storm-damaged or unsafe fences get priority.
Do you remove the old fence?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old fence is included in our quotes, and we leave the site clean when we’re done.
